community college in southwest Mississippi.

• Acted as the primary sports reporter in the area by covering games on a nightly basis, maintaining consistent recruiting coverage throughout

each season, finding interesting and informative features and writing thought provoking columns. Developed photography skills in aiming

to bring visual content directly to subscribers.

• Managed social media (Facebook and Twitter) accounts on behalf of the sports desk to give the newspaper a greater online presence.

• Designed a 2 5 page sports section for every edition of the newspaper using Quark software.
