throughout the southwest through a private fleet. Road Net routing, People
Net, Driver Recruitment, Safety, Training, sales growth planning, analyzing
cost effectiveness of routes and customers.
Accomplishments:
Reduced the number of routes by 29% while reducing miles by 16% for a
savings of approximately $250,000, plus. developed and implemented the
financial plan to reroute all customers in Central and North California
resulting in the purchases of anew facility that resulted in a savings of
$4.4M.
August 2011 - September 2012 US Foods Zebulon, NC
Responsibilities: Director of Transportation
Managed and directed transportation and distribution of broad line food
distribution division throughout North Carolina and Virginia from 9
locations with a private fleet of 200 drivers. Road Net Routing. XATA
Tracking, Driver Recruitment and training, Strategic Planning and analyzing
cost effectiveness of routes/customers and formatting into A, B, C
customers.
Accomplishments:
Reduced labor costs from previous year by over $0.05/case in the second
most profitable division within the company. Analyzed the strategic
locations of shuttle yards reducing the overall expense by almost $350K
while reducing miles and hours. Set direction of the Transportation team
with enhanced communications and accountabilities. Analyzed and developed
tracking tool for customers to determine their rank and profitability based
upon TAGP, not sales dollars. Developed a tracking tool for customer
delivery days and reduced off day and under minimum orders by 19%.

Routing and Mobile Cast Tracking. Oversaw Driver recruitment and training,
Fuel Purchasing, Safety and Fleet responsibilities with a staff of 11
managers and supervisors with 81 drivers through 5 distribution centers.
Accomplishments:
Reduced labor costs from previous year by $498K and reduced expenses by
$800K. Developed tracking of customer issues through People Net with an 86%
adherence to a 30-minute planned time window. Reduced cost per case by
$0.11.

Carrier, Dedicated Carrier, 3PL, LTL, Intermodal as well as all inbound
Trans-Atlantic Steamship lines, and cargo containers from France. Team
leader of National Customer Service/Transportation team that re-engineered
supply chain and optimization diagnostics.

Designed and implemented distribution network that reduced the cost/case by
