Application Development and support (ADS) is a development project. The source files received from

OMNI are processed and transformed into informatica compatible format and loaded into the respective

dimension and fact tables in the data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Created technical specification for extraction, cleaning, transformation and loading data into

Billing System Event (BSE) is an enhancement project that includes ETL logic and Oracle. The major

events handled are LOSANGELES and SANDIEGO site merge, CSG release I and II, NATIONAL and

LOSANGELES site merge, CAROLINA site merge I and II.

My Responsibilities:

• Designed ETL process using Informatica Designer to load the data from various source databases

and flat files to target data warehouse in Oracle.

• Involved in creating tasks in Workflow Manager such as sessions, event wait/raise, and

assignment, e-mail, and command to execute mappings.

• Optimized mappings using transformation features like Aggregator, filter, Joiner, Expression,

Lookups.

• Created parameter based mappings, Router and lookup and SQL transformations.

Aggregator and Ranking Factor (ANRF) – is a project for Insurance Domain. The RBS insurance mainly

divided into two categories of Motor and Home. The ETL logic gets involved in Home insurance and its

respective enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Extensively used Informatica Client tools – Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Mapping

Designer, Mapplet Designer, Informatica Repository Manager and Informatica Workflow

Manager.

• Designed and developed Mapplets, shortcuts for faster development, standardization and

reusability purposes.

• Ensured the correct application of the business rules through data query after the data is loaded

into the Data Warehouse.

AT & T Business Solution (ABS) is a data migration project which comes under Sales track of AT & T.

Due to the business need and reliability issues; Database of Metadata was migrated from Oracle Database

to Teradata Database.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in Complete Software Development Lifecycle Experience (SDLC) from Business

Analysis to Development, Testing, Deployment and Documentation.

• Involved in designing the new database schema and conversion of all the Oracle queries into the

Teradata compatible format.

• Developed the BTEQ scripts to fetch the correct data using the Teradata database.

Project Title : Anomaly Reporting

Role : Informatica Mapping Developer

Description : Arbitron is an international media and marketing research firm primarily

serving radio, cable, advertising agencies, advertisers, outdoor and out-of-home media, through its

Scarborough joint venture, broadcast television and print media. The main objective of this project is to

load the Data Warehouse about the details regarding the spending power of the population. The source

data will be provided as flat files and Oracle files. This data will be loaded to the staging area. From the

staging area the data will be loaded to a data warehouse. This data warehouse is used for business

analysis. The aim is to develop an application for getting reports for day to day operations by the Arbitron

Encoding team using the Enterprise Data Warehouse. The application generates a report on a daily basis

giving details of anomalies by media entity for a particular media day. Encoding Operations team uses

these reports to determine various anomalies associated to various media entities and follow up with

media station to rectify the anomalies.
