01/2012 – 4/2015- CCA/Citrus County Detention Facility, Lecanto, Florida

Business Manager

• Managed the day to day operations of the warehouse, commissary and inmate accounts.

• Approval, processing and receiving purchase orders for goods to run the facility.

• A/P, A/R, processing and reconciliation of all vendor accounts and month end closing.

• Billing the county for the inmate population and generating the monthly reports and

invoices.

• Contract review, worked with vendors to get bids for projects at the facility along with

making sure they were paid once the job was completed.

• Yearly budgeting and Capital Expenditures each year for the facility.

• Worked with other departments head and provided reports for their monthly spending.

• Leadership and monthly training for my staff and was required to host a monthly

department head meeting.

• Participated and organized fund raising events, facility events.

• Worked with inmates, their families and monitored all the inmate accounts.

• Reviewed contracts for all the vendors and county.

• Participated in monthly audits and auditing other departments to make sure we were in

compliance.

• Medical coding and processing claims that were incurred by the inmates to make sure all

invoices were paid monthly.

• Travel arrangements for staff that were traveling to other facilities and processed the per

diem checks.

• Participated in yearly drills for the facility that required organizing the process before,

during and after.

• Required to report monthly to corporate office, warden along with upper management on

any unresolved issues, financial issues or projects.

• Managed the day to day operations for the company which included all A/P, A/R and G//L

responsibilities.

• Monthly P & L statements using QuickBooks and also utilizing the customer software

package to post payments to accounts.

• Cash management along with bank deposits, transferring cash each week to company

holding company and working with banks on a daily basis.

• Worked with customer service and claims team to monitor payments and handling any

issues that would involve customer payments.

• Travel arrangements, event planning for seminars and conferences along with office

management of the staff.

03/2005-07/2008- Adenus Solutions- Smyrna, TN
