Medical Billing Manager-

My duties include the billing of ABA Therapy Service billing to HMO's,

Private Insurance and California Regional Centers, I am the point person

for our contracts and credentialing. I manage account receivables and post

to QuickBooks.

Medical Billing, Consulting and Trainer-

Dental Sleep Med Systems, 2013-2014

I was responsible for the Implementation and Training for several Dental

Practices to be able to build and manage their Sleep Apnea patient base

using an Electronic Health Record application. I also credentialed

providers to become Durable Medical Equipment Providers with Medicare.

Imaging Services Technology Support/Clerical Supervisor-

Memorial Medical Center, 2008-2013

I was elected to be a Subject Matter Expert during our go live with EPIC. I

became a Super User using the Radiant Scheduling Module. I was also the

Subject Matter Expert with the Powescribe application assisting the

Radiologist Staff to become proficient in the program. In my role as the

Clerical Supervisor I was responsible for all staff schedules, annual

performance evaluations, training. I revised and maintained all scheduling

protocols and procedures to mainstream the processes used on a daily basis.

I was the lead Interventional procedures scheduler working directly with

outside provider offices as well as in house Interventional Radiologists. I

was working towards becoming a Lean analyst as well.

Skills and Special Training:

Certified Medical Coder (CPC), Electronic Health Record Training and

Implementation, Meditech, Medisoft, EPIC (Radiant and Cadence

applications), Advanced MD, Central Reach, Lytech and Imedica. Medical

Billing and Accounting. Insurance Credentialing for PPO, HMO, Medicare and

Medi Cal plans.
