OBJECTIVE:
To obtain a career in the field of Natural Resources Wildlife
Management.
Graduate from Spokane Community College and obtaining an
AAS Degree for the Natural Resources Wildlife Management
Program.
SUMMARY:
I plan to work extremely hard in studying, researching and
completing assignments, projects and homework in order to
achieve an AAS degree in the Natural Resources Wildlife
Management Program.
EXPERIENCE:
For a long period of time I have experienced various types of
hands on work, for example I have completed two quarters of
Dendrology and I have worked with and learned about certain
various types of trees, shrubs, and forbs. I have recently learned
how to use the following forestry tools: a d-tape, bark thickness
gauge, clinometer, relaskop, Biltmore stick and an increment borer
in a total of eight field labs for my forest measurements class. I
will also be learning how to use other forestry tools such as a
Berger Auto Level, Leveling rod, sling psycrometer, and a compass
in my surveying and aerial photos classes. I’m currently two weeks
into the spring quarter right now and I am getting the hand of using
the Berger Auto level and the rod right now. I’m currently enrolled
as a full time student at Spokane Community College.
The work was enjoyable, as well as educational. I look forward to
gaining more experience and learning more information about this
incredibly interesting field.
EMPLOYMENT:
Most of the work I have accomplished already is mostly odd jobs
for my neighborhood, and my own house as well as my uncle’s
house.
The work I did for Ruth Voag included transplanting plants such as
irises and roses, weed control, and mowing the lawn. The work I
have done for my uncle Scott includes evasive weed control,
removal of two large shrubs, and a tree removal.
EDUCATION:
I graduated from Shadle Park High School on June 6th 2009 and
then I received my high school diploma.
I have had a total of two years in college at SFCC for Graphic/Web
Design.
I have had a total of three quarters under my belt of College at
SCC in the Natural Resources Wildlife Management Program.
