Responsibilities
I helped prepare the meal that was to be served later, set up beverages and tables, helped serve the food and
make sure they had enough to eat. I would talk and spend a little time with the people that came for the food
and support. After the meal, I'd help clean the dining room and wash dishes.
Accomplishments
I believe I had a big impact when I volunteered at the soup kitchen because the people kept coming back and
most importantly, I put a smile on their face.
Skills Used
A few of my skills were used, for example, my ability to speak Spanish made it easier and more comfortable
for the person to communicate. Customer service was definitely a part of it. Setting up dining room, cooking,
and leadership. I have always been a leader and I enjoy using that to ensure happiness with the people I'm
around, either working with them or helping them.
