• Safety – Developed and implemented numerous Safety initiative’s, including, monthly Safety committee
meetings with team members, weekly management Safety Patrol, daily safety tool box meetings, risk
assessment activities, participated annually in TTC global safety conference in Nagoya, Japan. Resulting
in three years without a Lost Time Accident. Won Toyota Tsusho Global Safety Award for 2010.
• Quality Department – Maintained QS & TS16949 certification without any major findings for the past
eight years. Established Quality System that included Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why principles, Process
Mapping, resulting in Zero Customer complaints for the past two years.
• Production –Consistently maintained or exceeded goal of 45 Metric Tons Per Hour for slitting operations,
resulting in $250k savings annually. Established goal of 18 MTPMHR for warehousing team members

was exceeded each year for the past eight years with an average of 21 MTPMHR resulting in an annual
savings of $100k.
• ISO 14001 Environmental program – No major findings for the past eight years. 90% of all raw
materials incoming to Millennium were properly recycled. Implemented a baler program, resulting in
750,000 lbs. of trash being recycled and kept out of landfill annually.
• Production Planning/Scheduling and Supply Chain Logistics – Implemented scheduling strategy that
allowed slitting operations to achieve goal of 45 MTPH. Implemented “freight optimization” strategy that
allowed annual savings of $350k. Implemented Supply Chain management program that resulted in “Zero
Missed Shipments” to Toyota for eight consecutive years.
• Sales Toll Business – Developed and significantly improved customer relationships, resulting in 8,000
tons of new toll business annually. Diversified sales model by developing new customers outside Toyota,
resulting in new sales of $400k annually.
• Maintenance – Implemented planned and predictive maintenance schedule, resulting in an “up time” for
slitting operations of 99% for the past three years. Maintained a maintenance operating budget of $300k
per year, each year for the past eight years brought operating budget in under actual budgeted amount.
