A professional driven leader in the construction market, having the finger on the pulse on construction in the
St. Louis and surrounding counties, and knowing the connections and savvy to converse with all
contractors across the board. I will bring to you the advantage of my expertise of 35 years in the field of
construction, from years of onsite experience, the ability to work with manufactures reps to get product
approval, to the final sale and installation of the product. My plan is simple, learn the product, seek and find
the users of the product, and lastly make the sale. The more projects I have going, the more proficient I
work. I am organized, a team player, a problem solver and interact well with fellow employees. I look
forward to meeting with you and your staff at your earliest convenience.

Irwin Products Inc. August 2004 – March 2010
• Sales Representative
Irwin Products Inc. is a company that is specialized in servicing the masonry contractors in Missouri and
surrounding states. My position there was to learn and understand the materials of 20 or so manufacturers. I
would meet with general contractors and use their plan rooms to find projects that had material that I had
access to. I would work with representatives of manufacturers to submit the products as an equal and
worked with architects and engineers to get them approved for use my customers. My field of expertise was
waterproofing, air barriers in wall cavities and restoration of old masonry and buildings to meet code. As
my growth of knowledge in the product I sold reflected positively in the growth of my sales. In 2004 I
started with a hand full of contractors and accumulated $90,000.00 worth of sales at 22% profit. In 2010 I
was working with dozens of general & subcontractors with yearly sales of over $500,000.00 with a profit of
34%. I could have easily tripled my yearly sales if I only had access to more construction material lines. My
biggest accomplishment at Irwin Products Inc was at the Casino Queen in 2005. The owner of Irwin
Products, our Dow Styrofoam Representative and I were involved in value engineering a floating
gaming area. We provide a floating platform made of Dow Styrofoam, when pieced together,
was 38,000 sq. x 6' deep. We delivered 95 tractor trailer loads of EPS in 5 days, and it was
installed in 20 days. The total sale was $821,000.00, with a profit of 18.5%, we had one
qualification, we needed to receive full payment within 10 day of last delivery, I had a check in
my hand in 7 days.
Ironworkers Local 396 June 1981 – July 2004
Structural Steel Ironworker, Certified Welder
•
I preformed the normal duties of a structural steel ironworker, and graduated from the ironworker 3
year apprenticeship program. My first job I landed was with J.S. Alberici / Ben Hur joint venture on
the 85 acre under roof project at the General Motors plant in Wentzville, MO. I set the structural
steel of many sky scrapers in downtown St. Louis. Moved up the structural ladder to Forman
status, and ran my own raising gang erecting smaller steel structures. After that I was hired by
Viking Steel Erection as a structural steel estimator. My duties there were to bid structural steel jobs
and manage the projects that I was awarded. I scheduled man power, steel deliveries and
coordinated with general contractors and steel fabricators when to be on site. The last 3 years of
my Ironworking career was a certified welder with stick and mig on seismic welded connections
and retrofit older steel structures to meet seismic code.
