Van-Rob, Troy Michigan (Metal Stampings, Cross Car Beams and BIW Parts)

Program Manager 04/13-Present

Program Manager for all of Cross Car Beam (Aluminum) and many BIW assemblies to GM. Responsibilities include

all commercial and timing issues. Other responsibilities include quote product to GM, assuring margins are met on

new business opportunities and maintained for design changes on current products. Champion PDT meetings and

maintain open issue list along with due dates.

• Highly trained in SAP. Knowledge of Setting up program budgets in SAP, writing BAMFS in SAP,

reporting budgets in SAP, and creating forecasts per program stage.

• Develop Work Breakdown Structure to assure a scope of work is defined and all members are aware.

• Identify Program Risks and report to Upper Management in Program Reviews. Have Contingency plan

in place if one has been identified by Program Team

• Develop Program Timing, assuring timing is maintained. Review Critical Path weekly with team

members.

• Review and maintain budgets of entire program.

• Attend monthly working capital meetings to account for my programs sales and receivables. Also

report any payables that contribute to working capital.

• Knowledgeable of the entire life cycle events (APQP), from concept to Production. Knowledgeable in

all the requirements in order to achieve Payment. (IE: PPAP, GP9, VTAM)

Program/Account Manager 09/10-04/13

Manage, monitor, and quote all design changes and new products for the Commercial Vehicle Seating Group of

Johnson Controls. Responsibilities include Program Timing and financial reporting. Manage highly dynamic multiple

discipline team members in a professional yet goal orientated manner. Assure accurate PO’S

getting budgets approved and reporting monthly on the status of approved budget

Quality Engineer

Work with all suppliers on Suzuki YW1 Program, Subaru EZ5 Program, and Chrysler Uni-Body Program. Assure all

tooling is on time, PPAP is performed accurately, and timing is met. Work with suppliers to assure on time delivery of

their PPAP and parts.

• Work with customer and suppliers to identify all significant characteristics of the components. After

identifying the characteristics, assure they are monitored on the control plan and part of the FMEA.

Capability must be met on these characteristics and if not the proper measures are in place so the

customer does not receive the suspect parts. Poke-Yoke processes when available.

• Assist with gage design, GD&T schemes and assure the gages are accurate VIA gage R&R and MSA.

• Chair all APQP meetings that are with the extended enterprises for the success of the Program Launch.

• 95% of all suppliers on time with PPAP. (110 Components)

• Perform all rate studies, assuring the suppliers can meet the rate they quoted. Monitor all open issues and

implement a 6 sigma approach to root cause analysis: Define, Measure, analyze, improve and control.

ArvinMeritor, Troy, Michigan (Exhaust Components) 7/00-1/08

Program Manager-Chrysler Business Group

Entrusted with the entire program for the Mini-Van and Pacifica Programs, including budget, quoting, Program timing

and all customer interaction on the program. These programs generated revenue of $100M for the company.

• Wrote appropriations requests, assuring all financial goals of the organization are met, including Return on

investment of less than 18 months and Profit Margin over 10%.

• Assign work order numbers to plants to charge program budget against, assuring no overage.

• Presented Appropriations Request to the Board of Directors for approval, often asking for Capital

expenditures of $4M dollars, along with reimbursed tooling of $10M dollars.

• Chaired weekly meetings with the customer and the suppliers to discuss open issues, Program Timing,

and potential design changes.

• Responsible for Program gates reviews with Senior Directors. These reviews discussed timing, financial

and health check of the program. Needed Director approval to move forward.

• Work with production planners to assure correct BOM is loaded and the correct revision is being produced

and shipped to the customer.

• Work with customer to assure all accounts receivables are up to date, often negotiated pricing of $1M + in

receivables.

• Responsible to input accurate information into SPIN system.
