Plant Engineer/ Project Manager

• Manage PDM department(Vibrations, Thermograph, and Lubrication)

2 contractors for vibrations analysis, 1 employee for thermograph, and 2 for

lubrications.

• Maintain records and tracked 3,900 work orders, 9,000 spare parts, 4,500 assets,

and maintenance history of equipment and more through CMMS system (iMaint

and Maximo).

• Provide strong leadership and technical expertise to maintain existing procedures

and continuous improvements with strong leadership of a cross functional team of

60 team members. Conducted training classes to improve skill level of accuracy,

bearing knowledge, lubrication practices, and process changes. Also on committee

responsible for hiring, testing, and awarding levels for maintenance employees.

• Proven success in managing project scopes, budgets, schedules and deliverables

throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.

• Designed, planned, and constructed a 4 month project for 1.7 million dollars for a

recuperator to recover waste heat from our manufacturing process. 3 months to

design, consult, and proof, 2 weeks to prep, 1 week with 37 contractors around the

clock to complete the install, and 1 week to run Particulate, VOC’s, and RATA

Stack testing. Del-Tin was issued full permit to run this process.

• Designed, planned, and constructed a 10 month project for 2 million dollars for a

secondary refiner for fiber manufacturing. 1 month to meet with refiner products

manufactures to spec out equipment needed for our demands, 1 month to design the

layout of this equipment, mechanical and electrical. 8 months to install conveyor,

magnets, blow line piping, refiner quill, resin injection, pre steaming bin, plug

screw, and digester. After completion of this project, it allowed the plant to double

fiber production to produce 450,000 board feet a day and increased uptime to 95%.

• Condition Monitoring and Predictive maintenance of critical equipment and

corrective actions to avoid breakdowns. Managed 2,100 PM work orders on 2,700

pieces of equipment with 95% uptime.

• Managed with company’s vendors and supervised subcontractors during various

maintenance projects to ensure proper completion of work performed at customers’

facilities.

• Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel, AutoCAD, Bob Cad-Cam.
