To whom it may concern,
Thank you for taking time to look at my resume. I hope to become a valued part of your organization. I am currently not a LBSW. However, I am working on licensure in the state of Texas.
My past mission, volunteer and job experience has equipped me with the skills needed to succeed in the Social Work profession. I am a recent graduate from Tabor College, Kansas. I double majored in Social Work and Psychology. I have been High Honors and on the Dean’s list while at Tabor College. I was also a very active participant in Tabor College’s Social Work Club. In 2014 I was an important component in putting together Human Trafficking Awareness week events for the campus and surrounding area. This included: A panel, movie night, speakers, concert from a famous Christian band (The Afters), and 5K.
My previous job positions as a social work intern, social work office clerk, customer service agent, and maintenance worker have taught me hard work and communication skills. I enjoy talking to others and serving customers. I am confident when dealing with customer, or client, relations. I have helped my college prepare for social work accreditation, editing documents and the like. I have also helped manage cases at a local retirement community in the Social Services department and also helped it prepare for Survey. Being part of the past companies I have worked at, as well as mission teams I have served on, has given me a desire to further serve others. I hope that my skills learned will fulfill the requirements needed to continue learning within a social work and psychological career.
I am excited about the role I can play in the field of social work and look to contribute to your team. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Carly E. Cardarelle
