COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Coordinated EFMP systems navigation quarterly briefings and trainings, Maintained community partnership by marketing/awareness; going out monthly around San Antonio to provide information concerning EFMP program and obtain up to date information. Designed outreach activities that targeted key audiences; (email, Facebook, flyers, monthly newsletter, etc) to reach identified targeted audiences in coordination with the Garrison EFMP Manager. Maintained continuous communication with the Exceptional Family Member through the service delivery and follow up process to track services provided and overall outcomes.

Health and Wellness Educator Dec 2008 - Feb 2011

U.S. Army

TRAINING: Taught weekly health assessment classes for 80-125 clients/patients per class. Provided coordination and instruction for various health promotion programs such as; self-care, nutrition, wellness, hypertension, stress management and youth classes.

PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: Developed the first ever Army Wellness Center Human Performance Lab in the Continental United States Army (CONUS) and served as Health Educator and Subject Matter Expert and Project Lead for the U.S. Army Wellness Center at the Fort Hood Resiliency Campus. Prepared and tracked data and reports required by higher headquarters; monitored intake and follow-up documentation; Assisted in preparing various monthly and annual reports; Created and Conducted health tests and assessments for 40-100 clients/patients per week.
