DCPS (Disability Case Processing System)
Sr. QA Analyst
Lockheed Martin Information Technologies provides consulting support to its
client Social Security Administration (SSA). Disability Case Processing
System (DCPS) is the large initiative from SSA to consolidate five
disparate legacy systems utilized by 54 Disability Determination Services
(DDS) nationwide. The goal of DCPS is to create a common case processing
system for all partners engaged in adjudicating disability applications.
The field office determines basic technical eligibility requirements.
Thereafter, if the basic eligibly requirements are met, the field office
routes the claim to a DDS, which could be a state or federal component.
I was involved mainly on CE Request module.
This Detailed System Specifications (DSS) document provides the software
specifications for the Consultative Examination (CE) business function of
the Disability Case Processing System (DCPS). The Authorized User initiates
a request for a CE when there is insufficient evidence to make a medical
determination. A CE may require supervisory and/or medical review based on
the type of exam or procedure requested, or the experience of the
Authorized User. The Authorized User scheduling the CE makes the CE
appointment with a CE provider. DCPS provides functionality to make special
arrangements for the involved parties to attend the appointment. DCPS
provides functionality to make modifications, follow-up and cancel a CE and
CE appointment.

State of New Hampshire Motor Vehicle System
Sr. QA Analyst
This system originally wad divided into fourteen subsystems in which eleven
subsystems to be maintained as a part of VISION, with the other three being
in the MAAP System. In general, the Motor Vehicle System is the mechanism
by which the State of New Hampshire licenses drivers, registers and titles
motor vehicles, tracks accidents and violations, performs inventory
management of plates and decals, keeps records of violations and hearings,
issues suspension notifications and reinstatements, and performs a variety
of financial functions for the payment of fees and fines. In addition, the
system shares information with other states, government agencies, and
departments via the AAMVAnet (American Association of Motor Vehicle
Administrators network.)
In addition to provide the mechanism for performing New Hampshire
Department of Safety functions and collection of fees, the system is also a
source of revenue by generating information for insurance companies and
other business entities. It is also very difficult to maintain because of
law changes, interface requirements with other jurisdictions and municipal
agents, and various workarounds which were put in place due to a large
backlog of modifications/enhancements.

Global Trade Repository (GTR)
Sr. QA Analyst
DTCC's cross asset Global Trade Repository (GTR) will provide the industry
with a central point of communication and storage of Credit, Equities,
Rates, Commodities and FX asset classes. The Trade Repository will accept
all trades globally from all swap trading entities or the agents.
The Global Trade Repository will act as the Central Repository and receive
Trade information, from Trade inception up to the maturity of the Trade.
The Trade Repository will receive and store Primary Economic Terms data,
Confirmation, Lifecycle Events data, Trade Snapshots, Valuation,
Verification and Document data, The Trade Repository will also receive and
store Real time pricing information for price dissemination.
The Trade execution facilities, Clearing Organizations, Confirmation
Service Providers, Asset Service Providers, Middleware Providers and Trade
Counterparties (Dealers/Client) will be able to report the trade details to
the trade repository (TR) through the interfaces provided. The Trade
Repository will provide the Participants and Regulators with some reports
that will enable them to view the positions and the status of submissions.
Project #1: EMIR Middle Market
With the substantial increase in new clients that is expected to onboard
for DDRL repository services, there is a requirement for an automated self-
service style onboarding. This automated self-service will allow the non
DTCC clients to onboard quickly and efficiently. The new proposed self-
service onboarding workflow will utilize Docusign, for a front end
interface, and a new internal interface to interact support areas in an
automated fashion. There will be a need for all internal support areas to
streamline their manual processes and automate where possible.
It is expected that once the client has provided all the required
information in the Self-Service registration portal (Docusign website) and
a payment has been received or deferred, the automated process will be
completed with the welcome mail being sent to the client within 24 hr
business day time period.
Project #2: European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR)
The DTCC Global Trade Repository (GTR) will be enhanced to enable market
participants to comply with trade reporting requirements as defined by the
ESMA technical standards.
This project will build upon the existing core GTR functionality and design
principles. The existing inbound message structures will be extended to
allow a single submission on a given trade to discharge reporting
obligations under any combination of the multiple regulatory regimes in
force as of the EMIR,
Project #3: ASIC & MAS Reporting
DTCC has been discussing with the Australian Securities Investment
Commissions (ASIC) and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), a proposal to
accommodate an interim reporting model that would satisfy the
jurisdiction's reporting requirements on derivatives trading.
Project #4: JFSA Reporting
The main aim of this project is to introduce a JFSA Validation layer after
the message submission. Positions that pass the validations in the
reporting layer will be included in DDRJ position therefore report to JFSA.
Positions which produce error when being subjected to the validations in
the reporting layer will remain in GTR but not sent to DDRJ. Two new
reports are added for the participants to provide details of all the
transactions that produce errors and warnings.
