Ensure agency operations comply with all DIDD policies in relation to staff training, individual supports,

Work with Director of Nursing to ensure compliance of medical requirements. Assure agency and staff
vehicles are properly maintained and safe to transport individuals.
Fiscal Management
Responsible for $5 million budget
Manage petty cash, individual funds and agency money to ensure appropriate records and receipts are
maintained according to agency and state policies and procedures.
Manage VISA and Wal-Mart accounts.
Coordinate bill payment with local vendors.
Coordinate with Area Director and Executive Director to maintain staff salary budgets.
Staff Management
Manage four program coordinators and 160 employees.
Recruitment of new staff and evaluating of existing staff, and ensure the agency follows state and federal
laws with regard to staff hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations .
Management and review of all staff timesheets to minimize overtime and ens ure staffing plans are followed
Oversight of all household shifts to ensure that all shifts are covered and staffing ratios met.
Individual/Consumer Management
Monitor and review the individual’s programs to ensure staff are properly documenting program related
actions and activities.
Attend Individual Service Plan/Circle of Support meetings, making recommendations as needed.
Submit annual reports to Independent Support Coordinators to guarantee individuals receive services and
supports they need.
Work with families, ISCs, and any other invested person to be sure individual is receiving opt imal supports.

and interest level.

Staff Management
Supervision of approximately sixty residential staff to ensure they are providing a warm family-like
environment for our clients.
Establish staff/client ratio's in conjunction with the Tennessee Department of Licensure.
Duties included recruiting, orientation, staff placement, scheduling, disciplinary procedures, training and
completing required paperwork.
Student/Client Management
Served as team member on the Behavior Management Committee and attended weekly meetings.
Behavior management and determined the need for individual behavior plans and counseling.
Supervised the development and implementation of client I.H.P. goals.
Completed social summaries as needed and the residential portion of DCS/DMHMR case reviews.
Ensured that data collection is complete and that monthly progress reports are completed.

Served as a liaison between the Tennessee Department of Licensure and KDS ensuring that departmental
codes are met and that inspections by the department are completed and that the group homes are licensed.
Assured the cleanliness of group homes on a daily basis including inspecting residential properties on a
weekly basis.
Assured completion of maintenance forms and checking to ensure that appropria te and timely repairs are
made.
Serve as Chairman of the Human Rights Committee.
Completed 24 hours of accredited in-service training annually and conducted weekly Treatment Team
meetings.
Lead Teacher/Counselor
Worked with the Assistant Teacher/Counselor on day-to-day operations within the residence hall
Assessed individual skills and develop methods for training in and documentation of self -help, social, and
other daily living skills and behavior management.
Planned and implemented the client’s IHP (Individual Habilitation Plan) participating in the development
and implementation of a daily activity schedule.
Administered (with supervision from the Clinic Coordinator) all medications at the prescribed times and
document administration of any medication.
Supervised or enlisted the clients’ assistance in meal planning, preparation and cleanup, laundry and
household chores.
