WORK EXPERIENCE

Assemble II / QC Inspection

Creganna Tactx - Plymouth, MN - February 2013 to July 2014

Responsibilities

Working on Edward Nova Flex product, loading big liner on the mandrel, stretch the big liner on the mandrel

and tie both end, then you load the small liner to the small mandrel and use the Adhesive to attach the small

mandrel in the grove of the big mandrel, clean the excess Adhesive...Load on the Braid to the big mandrel

and stretch it really hard and measure it to 4.45, look under the microscope to cut the stretch braid into a V

shape pass it on to put on the Extrusions also known as the body pass it to the next step, clean the assemble

part with a dry wipe leave it to dry for 3 minute blow out the heat sink for FM and load the part into the heat

sink poke a small hold to pass the small liner into the heat sink with a tweezers, heat the both end of the part

and put it on the rack and into the oven for 8 minute, after the part is out of the oven you leave it to cool down

for a while and inspection take over..

I also work on inspecting part, tipping and blank shaft inspection.

Responsibilities

INSTALLING FIRST RETAINING RING

Set shaft into rotor shaft holding fixture, apply loctite in the groove on the threaded end of the shaft, pick up

the retaining ring with a pair of retaining ring pliers. Slide the retaining ring into the shaft and into the groove

on the threaded end of shaft turn the ring around the shaft to spread the adhesive, squeeze retaining ring tight

with pliers and rotate to verify proper installation, than remove excess adhesive with a swab.

INSTALLING WOOD RUFF KEY

Apply a small drop of loctite adhesive into the woodruff key slot on the shaft, insert the shaft into the rotor

holding it with a fixture, use arbor press to insert woodruff key fully into slot verify that the woodruff key is

properly seated in the shaft by inserting the shaft with key installed into a rotor before sending or replacing

the woodruff key. If the key and shaft doesn't properly fit into the rotor remove key, clean loctite from shaft

and replace the key.

CHECK ROTOR POLE ORIENTATION

Place a piece of magnetic viewing paper onto the rotor and verify the four magnetic fields in a cloverleaf pattern.

This verifies that the rotor has the correct magnetic polarity

PREPARE ROTOR

If necessary, insert a broaching bushing into the rotor bore and the woodruff key slot, clean the rotor bore with

a swab treated with alcohol then apply loctite to the inside of the rotor bore near the bottom.

INSERT SHAFT INTO ROTOR

Hold the rotor with the PCB end facing away from the shaft, insert the hex end of the shaft into the rotor bore,

align the woodruff key into the key slot of the rotor, insert the shaft into the rotor until the rotor is seated on

the retaining ring if aligned property, the PCB end of the rotor and clean for excess locitie, allow adhesive to

cure for at lease one hour.

Inspect and test all manufactured products for conformance to specification such as dimensions, tolerance,

and other purchase order requirements.

Reading blue prints to place small components on circuit board

- Using microscope as needed

- Basic knowledge of electronic components and microscope helpful and are required, Remotes are often

dropped on the floor and may develop dry joints on the battery contacts or circuit board. Inspect the contacts

and circuit board under good light with magnifying lenses or if lucky you might have a microscope or just very

good eyesight? Solder all suspicious joints. If there is a sign of water damage you can use methylated spirits

and printbrush to clean out the circuit board. Sometimes you have to wash the circuit board with warm water,

good rinse after that you can dry with a dryer.

Soldering

Soldering solid diamond crown to shaft, using solid silver paste with a tweezers to heat it together, shaft cutting

assembly S/A shaft, tip, genia chm, sliver paste, alloy 63-96s, cleaning shaft, Predator is also a part that we

sold to a diamond crown to a 2.2 shaft, using a tweezers to heat it together, using a solid silver paste to get

the solid into the cam.

Press Operator/ Molding

Running a press machine to trim off rough tip, final trim the part, expand it on the press expander, then send

it for 100% wash and them inspect it for any (FM), Dent, Rub Mark, Nick, Stan, Pit Mark, and Burn Mark, also

Molding Silicone and raw material, setting up the press with different parts, molding liquid injection part and

inspecting for any missing rubber, incomplete mold, tears

Laser Operator

Dimensional measurement on the telescope manual, and anto filling on stents, inspect the stents for defect

such as burn, struts fusion, and drawling etc. Generating 9SFP), issue paper chart visual inspect the stent

under the microscope for defects. Build medical devise such as balloons catheter, stents etc. Working on the

bounding machine that bound the stents and the balloons together, also work on the trimming machine that

trims the stents.

Clean room production/Packaging

Boston Scientific - Plymouth, MN - March 2003 to October 2005

Working on a production line in a clean room, building balloons catheter, stents, guide catheter, and runway

catheter. Working on the bounding machine that bound the stents and balloons together, also working on the

trimming machine that trim the stents. Packaging the catheter in the final pack room, printing label for each

lots, making sure that the lable match the part you are working on, do 3-20 lots a day, and load it on the pallet,

then send it to receiving.
