Responsibilities as Director of Engineering to support:

Facilities and equipment such as engineering software value added resellers (VAR)

Develops relationships with potential business partners.

Business Development in the following Aerospace, Government and Subcontractors supporting with outside

engineering services as required.

Supports Lean Manufacturing. Provides engineering, technical and analytical staff resources for the process.

Technical and quality system support

Researches and evaluates equipment and tooling to improve production methods, make jobs more accessible and

reduce costs.

Coordinates and works with other staff to carry out product/service development activities including: product

identification, market research, feasibility studies, product design, manufacturability, manufacturing process

selection, equipment selection, job development/evaluation, material/component selection, supplier

identification/selection and pricing/costing

Federal Government

As directed, solicits and executes R&D contracts (to include contract performance) with the Federal Government or

its contractors.

Negotiates and justify initial prices and price adjustments for JWOD (Javits-Wagner-O'Day) commodities and

services. Ensures that the Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. is receiving fair and appropriate prices for JWOD

commodities and services.

concerning JWOD Program issues (pricing, addition of commodities to program and other program requirements)

Director of Operations / Sales

• Founded business specializing in offload tooling, engineering and design support for the aerospace, automotive and

commercial manufacturing industries. Directed all startup functions, developed strategic business plans, built a highly

motivated/trained staff and provided excellent customer service. Employed CATIA, Pro/E and AutoCAD design tools.

Completed sales of $1.4 + million within ten months. Company was acquired by Tomahawk II, Inc. in August of 1997.

Built the company based on technical skills as a Mechanical Design Engineer, the outcome was I taught more than I could

imagine so I acquire a similar company. (Professional CAD Services Inc) It was rebranded to PCSI Design.

• Produced LJs, DJs and ME for the main Boeing F-22 FAJ program. Employed CATIA with digital pre-assembly (PDA)

between engineering and tool production.
