Participated in the research and production of a Sustainable Development Master Plan on
the South Coast of Jamaica. The Study was funded by the Inter American Development
Bank, (IDB) under the Multi sector Investment Programme.
Knowledge and Attitude Study of over two thousand households across 14 Parishes in
Jamaica. The objective of the study was to determine the level of awareness of citizens on
environmental issues, their attitudes and perception to environmental protection and
management.
Socio economic baseline survey of domestic banana and plantain producers in the banana
producing regions of Jamaica. A systematic random sample of 1,800 potential
beneficiaries under a European Union farmer support program was undertaken.

Undertook a coffee yield verification and adjustment study. Estimate the biological yields
of the crop over a six year period using some diverse parameters. Monitor the harvesting of
the crop over a one year period and made estimates of lost due weather conditions and
biological pests.

Review and evaluate State Highway Administration wetlands
mitigation plan proposals to determine adherence to regulations. Review permits
applications for shoreline development projects such as stone revetments, breakwaters,

include both individual and general authorizations. Designed, created, and monitor
wetlands growth and development for the Maryland State Highway Administration.
Review wetland-permit applications from private developers, corporations and

As the Project Manager for the DC Department of Health (DOH), Environmental Public
Health Tracking Project; a Bio-Terrorism initiative. The Environmental Health Agency
(EHA) and the State Center for Health Statistics Administration had a multiyear grant
from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to establish a District-Wide
Environmental Public Health Tracking Program (D.C. EPHTP). The EPHTP is a major
undertaking by the CDC to track all chemical, biological and environmental exposures
that could have negative health outcomes to state residents.
Responsible for developing requirements to achieve cross-agency data sharing, data
integration and data warehousing for maintaining environmental, morbidity and mortality
