Professional Experience
Summer Internship TATA TOYO RADIATOR June 2012
Project undergone during my Industrial Training was “To study the process and manpower required for the
production, packaging and logistic of Radiator, Inter-cooler and Heater Core”
Used Time-Study Analysis on process and man-power required for the production, packaging and logistic. In
addition used MS-Excel for Data Entry.
Made few suggestion to reduce the manpower without affecting the production rate.
Engineering Experience
MRP DSS Project Wayne State University Winter 2015
Lead team of 3 student’s did “MRP DSS Project for Greek Manufacturing Company”. Objective was to
maximize the net profit.
Used MRP tool used to determine the production batch size and overtime.
Forecasted the demand to create MPS using regression analysis and linked the forecasted demand to MRP
worksheet using VLOOKUP.
Used the created Decision Support System to find the maximum net profit with low inventory cost and low
overtime cost.
SIX-SIGMA Project Wayne State University Winter 2015
Studied DMAIC and tools used at Kahiki Foods in Ohio to Reduce WIP.
Tools used like Value Stream Mapping, FMEA. Levene’s test and Mood’s median test for data analysis and to
check the variation in the improved process
Earlier Average WIP level was $51,838 which was reduced to $38,689, also reduced the standard deviation by
almost 60%
Optimization Project Wayne State University Fall 2014
Lead team of 4 student’s to “To Optimize delivery route and to minimize the transportation cost” using
Assignment and Transshipment Model
Result was computed using MS Excel Solver.
Documented whole project report in MS Word, MS Excel and presented using MS PowerPoint
Major Project Rajiv Gandhi Technical University May 2013
“Study & manufacturing of Solar Water Heater & Analysis of increase in efficiency by installing different tube
material with and without fins” with lead team of 3 students.
Organized and communicated team; conducted market research; manufactured solar water using different
materials, using LMTD and Efficiency calculation we got the efficient result and submit the report.
Presented the project in PowerPoint in front of faculties & students
National Competition Project SAE INDIA BAJA Nov 2012 – Jan 2013
Manufactured an “All-terrain vehicle” for SAE INDIA BAJA’ 2013.
A team of 25 members Participated in a national level event Baja SAE India. Where we designed and
manufactured an ATV. The Aim was to build a Reliable, Fast, Dynamic and Rugged vehicle.
Team leader of team management, material procurement and handling, marketing and vehicle safety.
