DUTIES PERFORMED:

Originally employed as a welder for the first year, but entered into QC inspection in 2008.

Perform NDE as an inspector (level II) for Tubular shop/ General fab shop. Perform PAUT, UT, MT,

PT, and VT inspections to specified procedures on welds, raw, machined parts. Verify

materials/trace before welding. Hardness testing includes both Brinell and Rockwell equipment.

Perform weld audits to assure quality throughout the welding process as well as review vendor

RT reports and film. Perform a review of the stress charts after stress relieve is complete. Work

with receiving P.O’s for payment to the vendors for work done on site. Coordinate stress personnel

and x-ray personnel daily. Ensure processes required for the Quality Management System (QMS)

are established, implemented, maintained and enforced. Reinforce the promotion and awareness

of our QMS throughout the organization. Review the performance of the QMS at planned intervals

to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness; and identify opportunities for

continuous improvement and needs for changes to the QMS .Coordinate activities related to

corrective/preventive actions. Plan and execute internal auditing requirements.

Perform welding audits focusing on reports of the process and weld qualifications with final reports that

are turned into M/E’s. Verify MTR’S (certs) to make sure the proper filler materials are being used.
