. Test for the crystallinity and tensile properties of the

created parts using the tensile testing machine

. Worked in team of 4 to express and purify large amount of

human protein phosphatase I gamma (hPP1) using E.coli as

the host cells

. Designed appropriate primers to carry out Polymerase chain

reaction (PCR). Used SDS-PAGE to examine the purity of the

cloned DNA

Protein Fermentation and Separation

. Worked in team of 4 to carry out large scale fermentation

to produced large quantities of hPP1 in E. coli cells

. Separation of hPP1 protein from E.coli cells using

different methods such as affinity, size exclusion, and ion

exchange chromatography

. Test for the purity of the protein using the SDS-PAGE
