Pre-Mobilization Training Assistance and Evaluation Team

Kansas Army National Guard

Salina, KS as a Pre-mobilization Training Assistance and Evaluation element I was part of the Great

Plains Joint Training Center. PTAE offered valuable pre- deployment training for Kansas Army

National Guard personnel. In the past, most soldiers had to spend three months or more at out- of -

state training facilities in preparation for deployments. As part of the PTAE team and the at the

GPJTC made it possible for the bulk of that training to be conducted in Kansas, mostly over regular

monthly drill weekends and two- week annual training periods. This allowed soldiers to spend as

much time as possible with their families and still receive the best possible training available to

Army personnel in order to complete their mission and return home safely. I assisted in weapons

qualifications for all deploying units. I have the ability to analyze

diverse data and formulate into coherent practical operations. I have 24

months of practical knowledge and ability to integrate logistics planning

techniques in functional areas of supply, maintenance, transportation, and

operations.
