Served in a dual role as Executive Director of Technology for the university at large and equally waited Assistant Dean for

Newhouse. For University Technology Services role I provided strategic leadership and direction for academic technology

applications, initiatives, and support services across the spectrum of instructional technology functions that facilitate faculty and

student work in the areas of teaching and learning, in the classroom and online. Assumed an advocacy role on behalf of faculty

and students in campus matters related to teaching and learning with technology and provided leadership in planning related to

curriculum development, e-learning, and other instructional technology initiatives that facilitate the academic mission. Ensured

technology issues and requirements were incorporated into the overall technology plan, and promoted the use of technology in

Executive Director, Information Technology Academic Initiatives for Detroit Public Schools Client

Designated Executive Director with management responsibility of multimillion-dollar budget to develop

technology vision and strategy to induce a 21st Century Teaching and Learning Environment district wide.

Managed, established and maintained C Level external vendor relationships as well as internal cabinet level

relationships. Directed a staff of 135 direct reports. Oversaw implemented systems, applications and processes

supporting the district’s strategic learning goals. Introduced new Curriculum Software Procurement Process; led

deployment of 40K netbooks and 5K desktops; established policies and procedures for new technology;

• Director of Governance Practice - Debuted this 1-year position designed to strengthen governance processes for the

organization to stay competitive.

• Program Director – Directed efforts of the Compuware FY10 Global Sales Training Event- Implemented Global

Campaign for sales directors, managers, sales teams and marketing departments on new solution selling approach and

processes. Worked with Product VP’s across nine different product lines to develop course curriculum and training

materials; coordinated and facilitated executive status meetings with multiple VP’s and directors throughout the

organization; directed logistic efforts for 250 sessions over 4 days, global travel, and local transportation.

• Program Lead PMO Quality Assurance – conducted Program & Project audits of projects to ensure alignment of
