impacts.

• Investigated the life cycle of petroleum coke with focus on the generation and storage of bulk materials and provided a

summary of best technical practices for the storage and disposal of petroleum coke and existing regulations.

• Designed a polystyrene skimmer collection system that collected 86% of a simulated oil spill with 99% purity.

• Proposed an evolution of the prototype into a solar-powered automated oil collection fleet.
