Project Title: “Study on Bridging the Coal Demand-Supply Gap through imports & Roadmap to Logistics”
Description: To check assorted coal offer (domestic + international ) for the thermal powerhouse. The
study focused on the link CIL coal & additionally the involvement of the linkage for fuel.
Organization: NTPC Limited NCR (HQ) Duration: 6 weeks
Project Title: Study of NTPC’s system of Fuel Management
Description: The aim of the project was to study:
India’s power sector and its most important parameter i.e. fuel management, Coal
linkage for NTPC’s new projects, Fuel Supply Agreements between NTPC & CIL,
NTPC & SCCL.
Practical demonstration of buying of coal through e-Auction process, Gas sourcing in
NTPC and Coal mining (Captive).
Coal pricing system in India, information on the imported coal, fuel transportation
