OBJECTIVE
As a highly successful and motivated aircraft structural worker, with a proven track
record of working most recently with Al Salam Aircraft Company, based in Saudi Arabia
and with reputable structural, mechanical and composite abilities, I am striving to secure
a demanding and rewarding position in which I can utilize my skill and experience to the
fullest and make a significant contribution in achieving organizational goals and
objectives.
ACHIEVEMENTS
During my Aircraft Structural Repair career I have been involved in several important
achievements worth mentioning. They include C47 TP Project involving modifying the
Dakota cargo aircraft into an amphibious sea aircraft.
The other major project was the Rooivalk Attack Helicopter. This involved the initial
concept from manufacturing parts to the final stage of building and modifying.
While working in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for a Cl30 intermediate maintenance
company, Arinc, I was asked to perform in a critical leading edge repair for the Royal
Saudi Air force AWACS Maintenance Squadron, on a Boeing 737. I received a certificate of
appreciation during my one year contract period for planning and executing the repairs
saving time and cost.
As a young apprentice in the South African Air force, I quickly proved myself as a skilled
tradesmen and fast learner. This earned me aircraft structural apprentice of the year
award for most outstanding structural technician.
