Description:

The purpose of this project is to create the best solution to ensure that SharePoint alerts are created and e-mailed to the appeal case coordinator when an incoming correspondence has been received and entered into the SharePoint Alert list.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Worked on Client Object model using C#.net to retrieve/submit the data to the SP Lists.

Used CAML queries on SP lists in Client object model. Filtered and displayed specific lists based on current user in the notifications.

Created Workflows using SharePoint Designer 2010 for library & lists.

Created TimerJob solution for web application to maintain the list items.

Description:

Enterprise Group ESSN Product Description Builder (PDB) & Rule Validator (RV) are the tools which are designed to help create and validate good quality short and long SKU descriptions for saleable SKUs. The description is built using a Microsoft InfoPath Form that has been designed based on pre-defined key product templates and underlying policy rules and get introduced in various systems are at least described in a manner which is all compliant with basic HP’s Marketing Naming Policy rules. The biggest advantage of using these tools are to drive consistency around pan-ESSN product descriptions and enable reuse of descriptions in various systems and validated on a web page interface based on dot net functionalities that has been designed based on pre-defined key terminology guidelines and underlying policy rules and the tool supports bulk name validations. Improved consistency in product descriptions will lead to less confusion and thereby better customer experiences.

The primary advantage of using the RV tool is to enable a preview of sales descriptions with BU approvers, provide EG specific adds and exceptions to pan-HP rules and enable timely maintenance of master data dictionary files for new terms and brand usage within products and further enable reuse of names as and when needed in various systems by collecting per program wise in a central repository.

These tools usage to HPSD and BCS business unit in the Enterprise group portfolio along with enhancements to the current release functionalities of HP Servers and HPN.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Created several Document Libraries, Form Libraries, Lists, List Columns, Lookup Columns and Views using out of box features.

Created custom InfoPath forms for Share Point Form Libraries and deployed in InfoPath Forms Services.

The main objective of this project is to enable the capability to collate and report on HP products that process, store or transmit data and provide component souring information that will assist our customers to assess the risk of cyber espionage including if the product is manufactured by a vendor.
