Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Advise Contract Manager on the implementation of the Health, Safety & Environment Plan in line

with the Company Policy procedures and standards and the requirements of the project.

Advice the Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, Permit Applicants / Holders on the matters of HSE

as and when required.

Monitor HSE during visits to construction sites, formulating new HSE measures in construction

sites.

Prepare a monthly report on Project HSE statistics and STOP analysis, and ensuring its

submission to PDO CH & Contract Manager

Arrange adequate HSE Training for all staff and maintaining records for the same.

Assist in Accident / Incident Investigation, monitoring implementation of recommendations,

cascading learning points across the project.

Preparations of HSE plan, inspection plans & schedules, checklists and formats and ensure the

implementation at the execution process.

Conducting various HSE workshops in coordination with PDO to prepare and review Hazard and

Effects Management programme (HEMP) in regular intervals.

Advising and assisting the line management personnel to carry out Risk assessment and Job

safety Analysis of activities like confined space operations, vessel entry, critical lifting operation,

hot work operations in hazardous area, hydro testing of pipe lines, radiography, operations in high

H2S areas and other high and medium risk activities in well heads, oil gathering and pumping

stations. Suggest control measures to reduce the risk, and assist to prepare method statements

for all high risk jobs.

Preparation of hazard registers for all activities in coordination with line staff and revision of same

in frequent intervals.

Liaison with PDO HSE department on matters of HSE inspection, accident investigation and

reporting, Preparation of weekly & monthly statistics, HSE reports, attending all client HSE

meetings.

Planning and running of various HSE training programs like STOP for Supervision, Enhanced

site Supervision for team leaders, Working Safely for workforce, Defensive Driving for

Company and contractor drivers.

Establish various HSE promotional and motivational activities like monthly HSE awards, Quiz
