• Appointed to this position by the President of Habasit America. The primary objective was

to increase revenue to $29 million by the year 2020 while increasing financial returns for the

America’s selling unit and P&L responsibility.

• Implemented a new team approach consisting of Customer Care, Product Specialist, Application

Engineers, Fabrication Development and Sales Engineers, to create and develop customized solutions

to meet the needs of our target markets.

• Redefined our sales strategy towards technical solution selling to focus OEM customers in the target

industry segments of material handling, paper, packaging, automated systems, glass and aluminum in

order to increase sales margins.

• Re-designed sales team coverage to a regional program in order to reduce costs, increase available

• Responsible for total Global portfolio management; including P&L from our producing unit to our

selling unit and the selling unit to the end user.

• Developed and implemented the Advanced Fabrication Center (AFC) solution concept in Asia

(Japan), America’s (the USA), and EMEA (Germany); designed to provide fast response to customer

needs while increasing sales margins.

• A leading member of the Timing Belt Core Project Team which assessed opportunities for expansion

against profit objectives, while assuring strategically alignment against our 2020 business plan.

• Developed the global marketing strategy and measuring system which aligned products and

fabrication capabilities with key Industry segments by using product prioritization, stage gate

• Hired to lead Habasit into the synchronous belt market.

• From a green-field start-up I was responsible for the global implementation, Creation of our value

proposition, branding and life cycle management of the timing belt product portfolio called

“HabaSYNC.”

• Revised and implemented the Global marketing and product plan, developed the communications

program, established the global price plan and created e-Learning modules for affiliate company

product training and created the product launch package.

• Worked closely with Regional Heads of Business in America, Asia and Europe to incorporate the

infrastructure necessary to incorporate timing belts, using STEEP analysis and TOPI charts to define

each regions competitive position and value proposition strategy.

• Traveled throughout Asia, America, and Europe promoting the new program to Affiliate Companies

and to build a global product specialist teams to identify new business opportunities.

expanded in the highly competitive computer peripheral supply chain. Success in achieving cost

reduction targets in materials and labor resulting in a 9 point increase in operating profit.

• Implemented single station manufacturing concept designed to increase throughput and give total line

responsibility, including quality documentation to machine operators. Implemented efficiency
