Worked as an Manager Operations - DJB Water Supply Project in M/s City Life
Line Pvt Ltd., From 15th Oct-2012 till 31st March 2015..
City Life Line provides comprehensive services to DJB through stainless
steel water tankers (having 250 tankers) as well as metro waste services,
company is also having 400 + cluster buses along with transport business.
Responsibilities
As a Manager, I am responsible for all the Operational activities
at Distribution Centre right alone with Fleet Management, All the
operations related to vehicles and maintenance, billing & collection, by
heading the team of 50 employees. (Asst. Manager, Executives, Officers,
Supervisors and the Administrative staff).
Competency:
Dedicated fleet of 250+ water tankers
Performs assigned number of trips on daily basis as per DJB
Maximum number of tankers provided by our company only.
Logistics
Handling the complete Logistics and Distribution Operations from all the
DJB water filling stations.
Fleet Management ( Taking care of about 250 vehicles-tankers (1613 and
1109)
Optimum utilization of the vehicles.
Repairing and Maintenance of Vehicles.
Driver control and route planning.
MIS, Report and way forwards.
Scope of Work - Implemented by us at (M/s City Life Line) for DJB
Undertaking periodical maintenance and servicing, ensuring the insurance
coverage, complying with emission norms.
Taking adequate care of various Information Technology devices that will be
mounted on the vehicles by the System Integrator appointed by DJB
separately without Tampering and ensuring their safety and security
Filling in the tankers with water at DJB filling stations and delivering
the same as per schedule without any water pilferage or leakage or
diversion of routes. The vehicles will be monitored continuously by DJB
through its Central Control Station and automatic vehicle tracking and
location systems.
Installation of display boards at various destination points informing the
water supply schedule. The size of the display boards must be 3'x4' with
character sizes large enough for easy reading. Necessary permissions for
mounting these display boards must be obtained from concerned authorities.
Making arrangements for overnight parking of water tankers with the
approval of DJB at DJB premise within an average dead distance of 5 KM.
Performance of the tankers and the Drivers will be monitored through
Intelligent Transport system components to ensure adherence to service
level compliance requirements.
Attendance of all Drivers is based on biometric Smart Card based attendance
monitoring system.
Submitting periodical bills for periodical payments by DJB subject to
satisfactory services being provided.
Undertaking additional trips as required by DJB from time to time.
2) Worked as a Regional Manager Operation with M/s Coldex Ltd. a company
into Cold Chain Logistics. Currently we have a fleet of 500+ reefer
vehicles engaged in Primary & Secondary distribution of products which
require controlled temperature. We are operating in three categories,
Frozen, Chilled & Ambient.
From April 11th-2011 to Sept 30th -2012.
Our customer list include Cadburys, Nestle, Britannia, Ferrero Rocher,
Mars,Gandour Chocolates, Lindt Chocolates, Amul Ice Cream, Kwality Walls,
