August 2013- Present: Browne Academy, French Teacher

I teach Prek-2nd grade school students academic, social and motor skills in French. I conduct

classes in French; lecture, demonstrate, and use audiovisual teaching aids to present subject

matter to class; prepare, administer, correct tests, record results, assign lessons, correct papers,

and hear oral presentations. I teach rules of conduct, maintain order in classroom and on

playground. I counsel pupils when adjustment and academic problems arise, discuss pupils’

academic and behavioral attitude and achievements with parents in French and in English. I keep

attendance, grade records as required by school, and coordinate class field trips. I attend required

meetings, school events and parent-teacher conferences.

Spring/ Fall 2011: George Washington University (school of Business, Global Language

Network), French Instructor.

I conducted college-level courses in French Language and prepared and presented lectures to

students on French cultural and business ethics. I researched and compiled bibliographies of

specialized materials for outside reading assignments and stimulate class discussion.

I managed the daily administrative and educational operation of the school. Developed and

presented Montessori activities to students (ages 2-6). I taught French language to students (age

4-6). I supervised students’ admission process, make critical decisions on student’s acceptance

into the program. In addition, I interviewed prospective teachers, train new teachers on

Montessori values, mission, concepts, and class materials. On a daily basis, I motivated,

supervised, and conducted meetings to help assistant teachers and teachers to expand their

knowledge of Montessori materials. I organized periodic meeting with parents to discuss

students’ academic progress. Monitored the schools’ budget as well as supervised the payroll

process.

May 2007-Jan2009 Wackenhut Services Army Force Protection Officer (Part time)

I observed and reported suspicious activities on site to the Department of Army Police. I

performed physical security duty and secured gates and entrances at Walter reed Army Medical

Center.

I translated legal documents from English to French and vice –versa for clients, lawyers, and

other legal personnel.

I prepared and presented lessons to 1st and 2nd grade students in a combined class. I instructed

students in French and Ewe (local language).

Access. Also, advance knowledge of Westlaw and Lexis / Nexus.
