Coordination steel outfitting and piping activities on cargo

hold/main deck, hatch-cover install and commissoning. Give the work order

from monthly schedule. Control if foremen respect specification, assuring

are loud at their capacity. Start action of mobilization foremen,

regarding work in shifts and make over time for keeping delivery date.

Participate to meetings with all section for solving production problem.

Key person in relation with Cargotec (MacGregor) also between Owner and

Production for ongoing projects : AHT's: Fairplay Towage

Technical inspection and pressure test of tanks, finally

delivery to owner/class representative. Direct collaboration with QA/QC,

Design, Planning and Production sections. Conduct in-process and final

inspection during pressure test of tanks. In charge with fairing (solve all

deformation). Install steel outfitting (hand grip, hand rail, vertical

ladder) and pipe in tanks for cargo hold systems (ballast, bilge, overflow,

anti-heeling). Check the procurement of materials necessary for production.

Hull surveyor/ Dock stage

Jul 2006-Aug 2007

Monitoring all fitting and welding of subcontractors and ensuring

that all standards and specifications requirements are strictly adhered

during execution and final inspection. Checking on board the

rework/nonconformity for each project in dock/quay stage and include them

in weekly and monthly reports Preparing inspection and test plan for each

project. Performing quality control, inspections and tests at erection

stage in accordance with client construction specification and drawings.

Coordination with client/class inspector. Make nonconformity reports,

correction and preventive action, issue patrol report.

Welding Engineer

Aug 2004-Jun. 2006

Verifying welds in erection stage are produced in conformance with

the approved WPS. Identify defective works; prepare NCR and follow-up.

Offer drawings, technical support and translate technical documentation to

senior foreman, assuring these are load at their capacity. . Direct

collaboration with Design, Planning and Production sections. Supervise

the Welding Procedures and welders qualification test of sub-contractors.

Coordinate with field QC inspector, scheduling of Non-destructive testing.

Witnessing preheating and post weld heat treatment activities.
