Recruited to provide global sourcing expertise, implement cost reduction measures, and manage

supplier relationships. Travelled internationally to analyze / evaluate existing suppliers and determine

viability and future business relationship possibilities with additional global suppliers. Tracked

Purchase Price Variance and resolved discrepancies. Purchased a variety of commodities, including

castings, machined components, steering gears, hydraulic pumps, power steering reservoirs, rubber

mounts, steering columns and shafts.

Saved $500K by leading cross-functional team to replace inefficient component supplier.
