Health, Safety & Environment: Be aware and understand HSE requirements, comply and
encourage others to comply, attend team and Line HSE meetings and Events and at least
carryout 2 site visits.
Ledger Transactions: Carry out regular review of transactions listings and review of cost ledger
with Budget Holders in Wells/Exploration, Location Preparation and Wells Intervention
Departments to ensure accurate and timely cost booking. Value of work done (VOWD) challenge,
monitor project execution against plan via vowd tracking and prepare variance analysis.
Cost Recovery: Ensure accurate cost classification and recovery during Joint Venture
Performance reviews and thus maintain zero loss. Ensure accurate booking of both manual and
system accruals to ensure accurate cost reporting of value of work done.
Management Information/Reporting: Provide quality and timely monthly Management information
with comprehensive variance analysis. Timely inputs into the Group reporting tool Expex monthly
Latest Estimates and quarterly performance actuals.
Business Plan: Be involved with the Line in the preparation of Business Plan. Support the Line
during Joint Venture Partners meetings for budget approval.
Contract/Vendors Invoices Management: Participate in Contract Technical Pre qualifications,
Contract strategy reviews, Post Contract awards reviews, Drilling Well on paper and Complete
Well on paper meetings.
Budget Management: Ensure accurate and timely loading of Joint Venture Partners approved
budget, Budget offsets and realignments. Budget release for project execution.
ONSHORE WELLS ACCOUNTANT

Complied with the lifesaving rules and visited Apara 3, 9, 7, 8 and10 Wells Decommissioning and
restoration sites.
Reviewed budget Latest Estimates with the Line and made the inputs within target period in
promis. (Group reporting tool).
Provided quality and timely monthly management information and ensured its delivery by the 10th
of the following month which forms the basis of monthly Budget Commitment Control meetings.
Followed up budget loading and ensured they were loaded as approved. Also followed up loading
of all budget offsets and ensured they were released.
Reviewed projects to ensure approved IP can accommodate the projects from inception to
commissioning costs and where there was none, waiver was obtained.
Carried out regular review of transaction listings and reviewed cost ledger with Budget Holders in
Exploration, Location Preparation and Wells Intervention Department and ensured accurate and
timely cost booking and reallocated identified wrong charges.
Participated with the line in the preparation of Business Plan. Provided relevant data for Overhead
and Salaries computations. Also followed up the Line to ensure carryover items are captured to
ensure Budget provision for project completion.
Fully participated in the performance review with the Joint Venture Partners and ensured constant
engagements and achieved 100% Partners approval and also acted as Excom Sub Committee
Finance Secretary.
Delivered routine & ad hoc financial transactions and Information as required (Cash Calls, Audit
queries and Assets under Construction Balances) for Exploration.
