As Claims Intake Representative I am responsible for initiating claims by receiving inbound first notice of loss calls from
our insurers, claimants, claimant carriers, attorneys, and others. I assist callers by providing status on claims, when the
claimant calls with a new issue, I enter complete details about the claim into our company case management system. I
verify and do a thorough research in order to properly analyze each claim to determine that the insurance policy covers
this type of situation. My duties to complete a claim also include ordering police reports, processing ISO's, processing
paper losses and setting up appraisals for claims that meet the criteria in accordance to guidelines. Upon collecting
and gathering the claimant's information, I finalize the claim intake process by reviewing the file and assigning the loss
to the adjuster with the expertise skills set necessary to complete the claim. To carry out my duties I always use the out
