Professional Accomplishments
Leadership
Successfully refused and modified a customer specification change due to capability; the
specification would have caused continuous 100% sorting operation. Worked with plant
engineering and the customer to reduce variability through multiple DOEs (Shainin and Six-
Sigma problem solving techniques). This resulted in an $800,000 savings per year.
Expanded TMD’s commercial vehicle lining business by over 50% in 3 years.
Supervised over 100 union hourly personnel.
Supervised and trained over 15 white collar personnel (Attorneys and Landmen)

Project team lead to institute several inventory controls and reductions
Project lead on several process and process flow improvements
Communication
Managed programs worth $2.25 million, $6 million and took another program from a
competitor worth $2 million annually
Negotiated price increase, using market indexes as primary cost driver
Successfully executed multiple international product launches
Organizational
Successfully transferred product line from Brazil to Mexico as a cost reduction for TMD and
customer
Executed multiple local and international programs from initial engineering through
successful production launch. Responsible for multiple programs simultaneously.
Spent two months in Brazil providing customer support and executing containment, test, sort
and release from a manufacturing quality spill. This saved the program worth $3 million
dollars annually and saved the company over $1 million in scrap and expediting costs.
Decision Making
Successfully executed international transfer of production on multiple platforms reducing net
cost by 15%.
Introduced the TMD commercial vehicle disc pad business, both hydraulic and air disc, in
North America. Received releases on multiple applications that are still growing sales.
Problem Solving
Successfully retained troubled business platforms through quality and problem-solving
techniques with multifunctional teams resulting in TMD being awarded the replacement
program worth $2 million
Retained a $3 million dollar project that launched with a multimillion-dollar noise warranty
concern. Through working with multi-corporate engineering and NVH experts we were able
to find root cause, too much dynamic friction. Using the root cause, I was able to work with
R&D to maintain static friction, but reduce dynamic friction.
Used Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to launch programs and resolve quality problems
