Mechanical Technician

• Remove, inspect, repair and replace various Turbine related parts and equipment

• Strip down, repair, and reinstallation of process equipment; Overhaul/repair hydraulic and pneumatic

equipment, valves, actuators, various types of pumps, motors, etc

• Complete routine maintenance and replacements such as: flange tourquing, replacing seals, bearings,

gaskets, o-rings, coupling/shaft alignment, pulley alignment and belt tensioning using laser equipment

• Perform routine HVAC maintenance

• Machine parts as required

• Conduct monthly safety meetings; Post/Distribute meeting minutes and take action on issues raised

• Schedule training for new and existing employees; Ensure adherence to safety regulations

• Monitor staff attendance and approve/submit requests for time off; Verify and submit time sheets

• Implement maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations

• Scheduled work and man hours based on customer needs and deadline requirements

• Ensure Inspection Reports are completed and within specs prior to closing work orders
