aircraft mishaps, foreign object damage (FOD), and injuries to personnel resulting from aircraft, aircraft
subsystems, and support
equipment maintenance. During period of contingency operations, assumes increased responsibility to include
the TW Commander's
Control Center and Full Spectrum Threat Response office. Responsible for the land mobile radio program for
the 412th Maintenance
Group.
Develops plans for specific repair or modification projects or operations, including scheduled and unscheduled
maintenance requirements.
This includes collecting supporting specifications, maintenance interval requirements, and historical data, and/
or compiling estimates of
requirements for specific skills, labor hours, and materials. Accurately prepares and publishes realistic and
economical schedules for the
manufacture, overhaul, or repair of one or more complex products that have numerous components or
subassemblies to consider.
Schedules time compliance technical order actions to reduce TCTO backlogs and effect timely modification
of product. Reviews technical
order requirements to ensure their accomplishment is compatible with local scheduled maintenance and
operational requirements.
Arranges all known requirements for input into the maintenance schedules ensuring no special inspections
are overlooked. Performs work
using automated systems to maintain equipment, historical records, plan, schedule, and track repair processes.
Continuously monitors
various databases to ensure users complete requirements and update records properly. Provide timely
assistance resolving problems
regarding update of automated records. Promptly retrieves information for use by controllers and schedulers
as well as maintenance
supervisors.
The incumbent supervises multiple civilian employees. Makes daily work assignment and provides technical
assistance with work related
problems as necessary. Checks work to ensure timely completion, compliance with instructions, and that
established standards of quality
are maintained. Ensures that prescribed directions, policies and practices pertaining to housekeeping, fire,
safety, control and use of tools
and equipment, and similar matters are followed. Identifies training needs and provides on-the-job training to
subordinates. Implements
changes in work methods and procedures, acquisition of new tools and equipment, and other actions that
would result in improved section
operation. Schedules, approves and/or disapproves leave requests, so as to ensure adequate mission support.
Prepares performance
evaluations, counsels employees, and resolves minor grievances. Responsible for administration of
disciplinary actions, promotions,
commendations, awards, and similar personnel actions. Implements programs to ensure equal opportunity
and treatment of all employees.
Interviews candidates for positions and determines personnel placement for such positions. Compiles and
prepares periodic reports
