back in the 1990s while working as Service Supervisor and later as
Assistant Service Manager. Also promoted the bulldozers
undercarriage rebuilding program of Maxima Equipment designed
for local contractors working in the Mt. Pinatubo lahar affected
areas. Undercarriage rebuilt includes track links welding build -up,
turn pin and bushing, rebuilt and overhaul of top carrier and bottom
track rollers.
Led a group of fellow Filipino expatriate service engineers and
successfully trained national workforce overseas to become
technically skilled, responsible and result oriented workers with
emphasis on cost control, sense of accountability and urgency along
with SAFETY FIRST work policy. This was particularly in Tanzania
while working with Panafrican Mining Services doing total machine
overhaul and reconditioning of large Komatsu mining equipment
such as HD465 and HD785 trucks, D275 and D375 dozers, PC1100
and PC1800 excavators, WA600 loaders and GD825 graders.
Also manage on-site support and equipment maintenance contract
while working overseas in Kenya, East Africa on various mining,
quarry and construction companies.
Very proficient in both oral and written English language and had a
good rapport working with fellow expatriates of different
nationalities. Familiar with SAFETY / HSE regulations such as risk
and hazard assessment, use of PPE and mine site driving regulations.
