Managed and led project to pull comments from EDI Work orders (inbound and outbound from B2B site) into sales

purchase orders to reduce re keying and errors. These orders are both inbound and outbound from Primenos.

Tracked down and fixed a production issue where unwanted information was passed between menus (LDA).

Created a Pick/Pack/Pull status report for inventory control replacing a series of queries.

Modified a inquiry screen to skip a order number selection window when one has already been selected unless the

selection is canceled.

WARNER MUSIC GROUP, Burbank CA 2002 – 2007

Performed all aspects of end-to-end development without a direct manager for fourteen months and without an

assigned security officer/system administrator for almost two years.

Supervised consultants and provided IT management with timely oral and written project status reports/SDLC

documentation using e-mail, MS Net Project, Remedy, Tock, Tracker and MKS Implementer on the AS/400.

Managed project and developed the following applications: Wildcard searching by Artist or Publisher in the tape

library inventory system, month end balancing of record projects with SQL, Automated e-commerce reporting to

ORACLE finance, AFTRA and Harry Fox reporting via FTP.

Oversaw project and created a user reporting system to replace a consultant’s running of ad hoc queries (using pop

up windows for data selection and querying) and a series of SQL RPG programs to simulate month- end report totals

for month-end balancing. Verify using PL/SQL.

Spearheaded the project for Royalties and designed a way to allow the company to be able to pay artists based on

tracks and based on a flat rate per song (for E-commerce) instead of requiring a list price and manufacturing costs.

Managed artists and publishers digital intellectual property rights and implemented standards for reporting Internet

beams and streams. Enforced DRM and helped manage and secure digital assets.

Led a project to better archive and reprint artists statements from history and EU reporting of performance royalties.

order process with TCP/IP devices connected to the AS/400.

Led project and created processes for vendor operations: Bill of Lading tracking, Container tracking, Separated

(between internal departments, external departments, vendors and shipping companies), added vendor unit of

measure to purchasing system, a conversion table for reporting purposes, a tooling cost analysis system. Was a key

member to help set up the first international distribution center in Mexico using PKMS.

Spearheaded MSDS reporting project for all manufacturing system and Pigments where used system users.

Controlled the rollout of an expanded system options control file and changed all programs currently in production that

used it.

Team led a project to reduce the number of screens on key entry programs by enabling a 132-column screen if the

display allowed.

Led Y2K project, performing 70% of all changes and implementing the changes on all local systems.

Maintained and modified Mapics DB manufacturing system code including adding of product lines and corporate

divisions.

Led a project that created a new menu system that allowed for better security and improved the interfaces between

the manufacturing, financial and homegrown systems including customer service.

Managed a project to create a new vendor purchase order system, profit and loss statement and coordinated the

project to implement it across all divisions and subsidiaries.

CHIPMAN UNION MANUFACTURING COMPANY INC., Union Point, GA 1991 – 1995

Project managed and implemented J.D. Edwards payroll, human resources and benefits packages, and all ties to the

general ledger for a major hosiery manufacturing company.

Managed consultants contracted to implement an RF terminal system, using Intermek Trakkers programmed in IRL

directly connected to the AS/400 and others connected to a UNIX server using Auto-Soft software which was

connected to the AS/400 for inventory put up and custom order packing for K-mart’s positive verification standards

and for other customers requiring custom order packing.

Setup PC based PKMS system for warehouse control at 2 warehouses, wrote JD Edwards interface from Mfg., to HR

Designed all corporate labeling (mainly UCC) using Zebra and RJS printers with custom (BASIC) and packaged

software connected to personal computers and the AS/400.

Led project and implemented incentive payroll, payroll data entry, sales forecasting and production planning,

packaging inventory and order processing programs with connections to the EDI system (Primenos).

Spearheaded an initiative to migrated all queries and sequels from system 38 to AS/400

Maintained and managed hundreds of legacy COBOL programs and converted all RPG3 and RPG-ILE, some without

COBOL source code.

Managed all aspects of personal computer maintenance, installation, training, programming and repair. Used ERWIN

on PC for program diagramming.

J.P.STEVENS CORPORATION (AUTOPRODUCTS DIVISION), Greenville, SC 1990 – 1991

Project led and implemented waste management systems and General Motors automated forecasting systems.

Led a conversion projects to convert Canada X12 EDI order process to proprietary systems using Sterling software’s

EDI system, Old system 38 COBOL programs to native AS/400 RPG programs, and dye cost and dye waste system

for a remote location with a system 36.

Managed the system 36 and maintained and led projects involving the BPCS manufacturing system.

AMERICAN TRIM PRODUCTS, Travelers Rest, SC 1988 – 1990

Led projects and implemented all new systems for the Emb-Tex division, including new inventory system with work-in-

process inventory and a time and attendance system both with bar codes.

Spearheaded the initiative to migrate the corporate S38 to an AS/400 model B30 and integrate it with division system

36 and another division using APPN.

Developed and managed projects using RPGII1/2 and RPG 400 and PASCAL. Programmed and maintained Data

General Micro Ellipse and personal computer systems. Programmed personal computers using Turbo Pascal 5.0.

Performed maintenance changes to software on Northern Telecom SL-1 telephone switch.
