Erica’s Story
My name is Erica Kushihashi. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado where I
currently live today with my husband and children. Besides writing, I enjoy reading,
baking, gardening and spending time with my family.
Although I’ve always enjoyed writing, I’ve only recently made it a career. I went to
school for fashion design and spent time after that merchandising for the Gap. I’ve also
spent many years in the dental industry as an office manager and treatment coordinator
with a strong sales background; educating patients about their dental health and helping
them change their smiles and their lives. I enjoyed connecting with the patients and
hearing their stories, however, I felt that I was missing a big part of my own children’s
lives because I was working long hours. I decided to make a change for our family and
take a job where I could work from home.
Now I connect with people in a different way, through words. I definitely consider myself
a word warrior as I specialize in writing interesting and informative original content for
clients’ websites, blogs and social media projects. I’ve also been a part of larger
ghostwriting and editing projects for clients. I’ve written about a wide range of topics
from functional medicine and ADHD to auto sales and travel.
I enjoy researching new topics and providing content that not only educates the reader but
also engages them as well. I also understand how to incorporate keywords and create
website content that actually generates sales for clients. I appreciate the unique
opportunity to help readers learn about topics that not only interest them, but may
perhaps change their lives, while at the same time helping clients grow their businesses
and increase their sales, through the power of words.
When I’m not writing for clients, I also enjoy creating interesting stories for my kids. My
daughter and I often collaborate on writing projects, as she also enjoys writing and
illustrating. I look forward to honing my skills as I meet new clients.
