Objective:
To use the experience I've obtained in my forty years of industrial work history to carry
me through ten more years to retirement age. As an industrial process operator, I can
enhance any position with my knowledge, perception and experiences. I understand
what it takes to make a process safe, reliable, efficient and profitable.
Work History:
6/1975 through 12/1975. Worked for Jones Chemicals. 985-***-****. Worked as an
operator filling two hundred pound cylinders and one ton containers with chlorine.
12/1975 through 10/1991. Worked for Cargill, Inc. Grain Elevator. 985-***-****.
Started working in barge unloading operations on the Ms. River and also loaded ocean
going ships. Moved into the control room after a year and a half and ran the control
board on the receiving side, Promoted to the maintenance department where I did the
purchasing for the plant and operated from a 2.75 million dollar annual budget.
10/1991 through 3/2014. Worked for E.I.DuPont Polymer Plant. 985-***-****
Denis McCrea (unit manager/Chemist). I was a chemical process operator in the
Neoprene Unit, where we mixed chemicals to produce the liquid neoprene. The process
consisted of nine jobs, of which I was qualified in eight. The neoprene production unit's
control board was worked for the last ten years, while rotating through all eight years as
assigned. I retired after 23 years with the hope of driving hot shot for my final working
years.
7/2014 through 12/2014. Worked for ELFs (Expedited Logistic Freight Service. (225)
244-2664 Chad Hurt (operations manager). Driving was fun, yet keeping the truck in
first class operating condition was more expensive than I ever imagined.
