Thirty years of progressively responsible and diversified experience in
every aspect of quality systems design, planning, and management. Of
those, fifteen years were as Quality Manager. ASQ certifications achieved
in both Quality Engineering and Quality Auditing.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Designed and implemented effective QA departments in three ISO-900X
corporations from scratch.
Developed and published QA manuals for three corporations when none had
existed prior.
Developed and released supporting QA, Administrative, and Engineering
system procedures for each manual written.
Developed and implemented objective employee certification programs in four
corporations.
Resolved product/process non-conformance issues through the use of failure
analysis, statistical analysis, and tenacity.
Designed and implemented SPC and DOE systems for three corporations.
Designed and implemented quality systems compliant and/or equivalent to

Revamped existing QA systems that resulted in cost savings of up to 75%.

EXPERIENCE
Signetics Corp., Product Assurance Supervisor, Analog Products Division
Set up the Product Assurance department from bare walls that
eventually consisted of 14 fully trained and certified inspection and
support staff.
Designed and implemented QA and Production systems including employee
certification.
Responsible for the evaluation and disposition of all non-USA based
product returns.
Provided quality feedback to Fabrication, Assembly, Test,
Engineering, and Marketing.
Signetics Corp., Sr. Quality Engineer, Military Products Division
Performed analysis and final disposition of all JAN class B & S MMIL-
STD-883 test method QCI & QIN failures in accordance with MIL-M-38510
allowances.
Responsible for the qualification lab's test method procedures and
equipment.
Interfaced with DCAS, GSI, and customer source inspectors.

Set up a QA department from scratch including the writing of a

Set up a full blown mechanical inspection area and equipped same.

Set up the QA department from almost bare walls.
