EXPERIENCE
HANNA COMMERCIAL LLC (formerly Ostendorf-Morris Co.) – Cleveland, OH 1999 - Present
Established in 1939, Ostendorf-Morris Company is the largest, full-service commercial real estate firm in
Ohio.
Director – H.R., Accounting & Administration 2003 - Present
Manage Human Resources, Accounting, Benefits and Operations for the largest commercial real estate
firm in Ohio. Responsible for H.R., Benefits, Payroll, A/R, A/P, Cash Management, Financial Statement
Analysis and a $12 million budget. Establish and enforce all H.R. policies and procedures. Supervise
support staff of 10. Reports to the Managing Partner.
• Directed Human Resources and Accounting during a challenging transition from corporate to local
ownership.
• Successfully negotiated and implemented a new Employee Benefits package once buy-back was
complete. Package included Health, Dental, Vision, Life and LTD insurance.
• Supervised search for a new 401(k) Plan provider and financial advisor for a plan with over $5 million
in assets. This was accomplished under a very tight timeframe, when previous provider exited the
401(k) business.
• Kept employee turnover at a minimum during buy-back transition, at a time when there was much
speculation about the firm’s future.
• Stabilized H.R. and Accounting strategies during a 15 year period in which there were three company
ownership changes, while reporting directly to four different Supervisors/Partners over that time.
• Developed an “Employee Enrichment Program” and contracted for training to address management
skill needs and to create motivational staff events.
• Implemented various cost-cutting strategies, resulting in annual savings of over $400,000.
Operations Manager 1999 - 2003
Managed Human Resources, Benefits, Operations and Accounting, coordinating these areas with
corporate offices in Vancouver and Seattle. Supervised support staff of 18. Managed office operations
during complex company purchase to CMN, Inc. out of Vancouver, Canada. Reported to the Executive
Managing Director.
• Saved the firm over $100,000 in salaries by streamlining work processes and support assignments.
• Coordinated $785,000 office relocation involving 85 employees into 27,000 square feet. Worked
closely through all facets of design with architects and the general contractor.
• Improved staff moral and reduced turnover by encouraging team building and modeling a
management style that promoted a positive work culture.
• Kept employee benefit cost increases to a minimum by successfully negotiating 2 difficult annual
renewals.
• Reduced temporary personnel fees by $20,000 annually by implementing support backup
procedures.
• Implemented first-time employee evaluation process. Conducted employee evaluations, established
annual salaries and awarded annual salary increases.

$280 million transportation, manufacturing and mining company with 1700 employees in 3 divisions.
Supervisor - HR Administration and Systems (1995 - 1998)
Supervised HRIS including implementation and training for headquarters and remote sites, working
closely as a team with benefits and payroll. Managed purchasing and budget function for $3 million of
office expenses. Reported to the Manager of Compensation and Personnel Administration.
• Developed HRIS training and procedural policies saving $30,000 in training and travel costs annually.
• Led the efforts to quickly and effectively incorporate 3 acquisitions into the HR system during a period
of high growth in which the company doubled in size.
• Reduced office supply and equipment costs 35% by establishing a national accounts program to take
advantage of economies of scale and to achieve corporate standardization.
Administrator - HR and Operations (1993 - 1995)
Managed HRIS, telecommunications and expense control at headquarters, reporting to the Supervisor of
HR and Operations.
