This project involves roll outs for financial systems of Deutsche Bank for

four different countries, namely Singapore, Korea, Indonesia and Hong

Kong. Transactional and cell based reports were created. The reports were

built on the data obtained from the SAP BW BEx queries. It's an

off-shore/on-site project. The off-shore team is residing at Chennai and

Bangalore. The reports were initially developed in the Dev server and then

moved to QA and to production. A share point was maintained from where the

defects raised by the users were taken and then fixed based on the

priority. Versioning of the reports were to be maintained to make sure

that the last updated report was worked upon the defects.

The project deals with the development of Reports in Cognos Series7

ReportNet1.1 using Query Studio and Report Studio, for City of Dallas Land

Management System (LMS). Simple ad hoc reports are created using Query

Studio and Complex reports are created using Report Studio and custom SQL.

The database used is Oracle 9i, the database server is in City of Dallas.

We used VPN (Virtual Private Network) to connect. Projectricity (Project

collaboration tool - www.projectricity.com) is used to interact with the

client and maintain the status of the reports. The report is manually

tested using Query Studio, Toad, checklist and the output format given by

the client.
