Responsibility: Database Developer/ Analyst
My main role was to provide support to the Hospital’s Rheumatology databases. Some of
my additional duties included:
● Worked on Oracle EDQ for the Hospital’s Rheumatology Department.
● Worked on supporting an Oracle Forms 10G application for the Rheumatology
Department.
● Provided Reports to the hospital staff using Crystal Reports XI. Used a combination of
complex SQL and PLSQL scripts to extract data for statistical analysis. Also performed
SQL tuning as and when required.
● Worked on Data Modeling for the RED CAP projects used by the research division.
● Worked on a number of ACCESS databases supporting, reporting and modifying
the applications as per user needs from time to time.

• Co-coordinated work with the UK support team by forwarding the technical details of
the request obtained from users.
• Migrated an application from Oracle Forms 10G to Forms 11G.
• Made use of Rational Software’s RUP methodology for designing, analyzing
requirements for new systems.
• Worked on a number of PLSQL packages and procedures for a project which
was converted from MS-ACCESS to Oracle.
• Converted/migrated data and performed Data Modeling for the new apps to be
developed from MS-Access to Oracle using SQL Developer.

I was working for this company since Feb 2007 as a Systems Analyst using Oracle, PLSQL
and ADF for designing, developing and maintaining applications for the organization. I have
successfully handled some critical enhancement requests for the existing applications. As
part of the new application development projects I have also done some extensive research
on comparing the performance of PLSQL and Java. Worked on developing Unix shell
