ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Redesigned a 30 year old out dated product which only had sales of 30 units

per year. After an intense market study and recruiting market leaders for

input, designed a new product that became the industry leader. Sales went

from 30 per year to 400 per month and is a number one selling product.

Resourced all products from being manufactured in Canada to China. Sourced

12 current products which had to be completely retooled and some design

changes made along with 4 additional new products that needed to be

introduced. Developed very aggressive schedule which will resulted in a

gain of 25%-30% margin on each product.

Developed new product development procedure which incorporates the North

American, Asian, and European operations. Responsible for the development

of products from inception to production.

Extensive experience negotiating and working with Asian suppliers. Provide

engineering resources and support to Taiwan and China offices during the

development of new products or redesign of existing products.

Successfully completed the acquisition of 3 companies, converting a 50 year

old fully integrated manufacturing facility to an assembly operation. Built

a new facility then integrated it into a new 500,000 distribution center on

time and within budget in 1.5 years.

Design and develop 3 major promotions per year that generate over $10

million in sales. Attend major tradeshows to introduce new products to the

market. Extensive travel to Asia during the development of new products for

supplier support, direction, design, negotiating, and product evaluation.

Extensive network of suppliers in China with various disciplines such as

castings, plastics, motors, electronics, sheet metal, etc. Responsible for

all sustaining engineering related to daily manufacturing. Extensive
