Kinetic Modeling in Dual T racer Molecular Imaging (fluorecence) .

Developed a mathematical model (two tissue compartment model) that includes receptor saturation. Simplified the model

to keep the noise small. Used M ATLAB to work out equations.

Paired-label Molecular Imaging to Quantitatively Measure Cell Surface Receptor Concentration

Performed experiments including: 3D cell culture of A431 and U 251 cells in 0.7% agarose gel.

Imaged and rinsed repeatedly dual fluorescence dyes, untargeted IR700 and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)

targeted IR800 t o create a dynamic tracer distribution curve and better estimation of the binding potential (BP) by using

MATLAB.

Explored the Anti-inflammatory Activity of Hispolon in Vitro (tested on THP-1cells).

Evaluated its anti-inflammatory activity by monitoring its effects on the modulation of cytokines and the mediators of

inflammation, such as IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, PGE2 and NO in cell culture medium by using ELISA methods.

Used MTT assay to assess the pharmacology activity of compounds .

Preparation of Recombinant Protein of Extra-cellular Domains of Mouse VEGFR-2 and Its Application in Detecting the

VEGFR-2 Antibody.

Amplified DNA fragment encoding the extracellular ligand binding domains of VEGFR -2 from mouse total RNA by

RT-PCR technology, and cloned it into prokaryotic expressed vector pET28a .

Transformed the resulted plasmid to E. coli Rosetta (DE3) and then expressed recombinant protein by IPTG induction and

purified it under urea denaturing condition.

Used western blotting assay to identify purified recombinant protein with His -tag antibodies and VEGFR -2 antibodies .

Applied ELISA to analyze the application value of recombinant protein i n detecting the VEGFR -2 antibody
