Responsibilities
Manage, plan, organize, assign and inspect the work of Electrical Maintenance Department.
Provide technical resources to support electrical maintenance efforts for troubleshooting
assistance and supporting projects to deal with identified equipment.
Lead and support electrical incident investigation with root cause analysis.
Provide technical support to production and maintenance organization to evaluate and resolve
maintenance problems and reduce maintenance costs.
Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of electrical department’s
employees and clients.
Prepare annual and long-range operation plans and objectives.
Develop detailed estimates leading to funding appropriation and approval.
Prepare scoping, review proposals and detailed designs, and follow-up on execution of important
projects.
Manage general engineering services (GES) design contractor activities during the development
of project proposal, including definition of project work scope and schedule requirements.
Assign the tasks of developing budgets, material, estimating labor and project construction costs.
Recruit, build, train and manage a team of professional engineers, technician and journeyman to

Prepare and perform electrical design packages and specify materials to add new equipment or
modify existing systems.
Prepare and justify cost estimates for plant electrical improvements and replacement of worn out
equipment in compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Develop and execute of electrical projects such as installation, termination, test,
specification, pre-commissioning and commissioning electrical equipment from 400V to
132KV including Power and Distribution Transformers, Switchgear, Breaker
(SF6&Vacuum), MCC room, Distribution Board, Wiring, Cable pulling, Three phase
electric motors, UPS, D.C. Charger and Protection Relays.
Review and understand equipment and instrumentation/electrical specifications to ensure
equipment and materials are procured and installed as per regulatory bodies (IEC, IEEE,
NEC, API etc.) and company’s engineering standards and specifications.
Perform function checks, testing and start- up.
Resolve design or specification conflicts.
Coordinate and review vendor equipment, installation and other discipline drawings for
operability, reliability and maintainability input.
Monitoring installation and operation of electrical equipment in Hazardous areas.
Provide technical support to staff at all levels.

factor from 0.85 to 0.95 in contact between Amir Kabir petrochemical co. and Fajr power
plant.

1*500 mm2, 6 KV of cooling tower substation.
Above grounding of joints of 6 single core cable 1*630mm2, 33 KV by changing of
route, joints & parts of cables of Olefin plant.
Changing of 12 ACBs of LV SWBs of HDPE & Buten1 plants by 3WL SIEMENS ACBs
