Professional skills in electrical engineering related to Oil and Gas industry. I have relevant experience in

installation, pre-commissioning, start-up, operation, maintenance, test, troubleshooting, repair and

overhaul of electrical equipment at a big leading petrochemical company in the Middle East.

I worked with a team of chemical, mechanical, electronic, electrical and process engineers near 14 years

and managed 62 employees of electrical department. I am a permanent resident of the United States and

Responsibilities

Manage, plan, organize, assign and inspect the work of Electrical Maintenance Department.

Provide technical resources to support electrical maintenance efforts for troubleshooting

assistance and supporting projects to deal with identified equipment.

Lead and support electrical incident investigation with root cause analysis.

Provide technical support to production and maintenance organization to evaluate and resolve

maintenance problems and reduce maintenance costs.

Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of electrical department’s

employees and clients.

Prepare annual and long-range operation plans and objectives.

Develop detailed estimates leading to funding appropriation and approval.

Prepare scoping, review proposals and detailed designs, and follow-up on execution of important

projects.

Manage general engineering services (GES) design contractor activities during the development

of project proposal, including definition of project work scope and schedule requirements.

Assign the tasks of developing budgets, material, estimating labor and project construction costs.

Recruit, build, train and manage a team of professional engineers, technician and journeyman to

service all the electrical projects and maintenance procedures.

Place order for spare parts and maintain an inventory record of the same.

Head of electrical department of Olefin, Utility, Butadiene and Buten1 plants (July 2011 –

March 2013)

Supervisor of electrical department of Utility, Butadiene and Buten1 plants (May 2008 – June

2011)

Supervisor of electrical department of HDPE, Butadiene and Buten1 plants (Nov. 2006 –

April 2008)

Professional expertise in Industrial Electrical Maintenance and supervision responsibilities.

Prepare and perform electrical design packages and specify materials to add new equipment or

modify existing systems.

Prepare and justify cost estimates for plant electrical improvements and replacement of worn out

equipment in compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Perform testing, monitoring and calibration procedures for electrical equipment.

Conduct scheduled checks, inspect, and detect any short circuits and electrical malfunctions via

read blue prints.

Perform electrical system studies such as load flow, short circuit calculation, protective device

coordination and cable sizing, using computer software E-TAP 11.

Repair, replace and refurbish damaged electrical units.

Routine Tests of protective relays and electrical equipment.

Troubleshooting, repairing, maintain and doing PM programs (preventive and predictive) for

electrical utilities and distribution systems from 400V up to 132000V, power and distribution

transformers, breakers, protection relays, large electrical motors and MCC room, D.C. chargers

and UPS systems, Siemens PLC and VFD and all electrical subsystems like fire alarm, lighting,

switchgears, control circuits, Diesel generators and HVAC.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute of electrical projects such as installation, termination, test,

specification, pre-commissioning and commissioning electrical equipment from 400V to

132KV including Power and Distribution Transformers, Switchgear, Breaker

(SF6&Vacuum), MCC room, Distribution Board, Wiring, Cable pulling, Three phase

electric motors, UPS, D.C. Charger and Protection Relays.

Review and understand equipment and instrumentation/electrical specifications to ensure

equipment and materials are procured and installed as per regulatory bodies (IEC, IEEE,

NEC, API etc.) and company’s engineering standards and specifications.

Perform function checks, testing and start- up.

Resolve design or specification conflicts.

Coordinate and review vendor equipment, installation and other discipline drawings for

operability, reliability and maintainability input.

Monitoring installation and operation of electrical equipment in Hazardous areas.

Provide technical support to staff at all levels.

factor from 0.85 to 0.95 in contact between Amir Kabir petrochemical co. and Fajr power

plant.

Cable resizing, cable route design, material ordering and installation of 18 single core

1*500 mm2, 6 KV of cooling tower substation.

Above grounding of joints of 6 single core cable 1*630mm2, 33 KV by changing of

route, joints & parts of cables of Olefin plant.

Changing of 12 ACBs of LV SWBs of HDPE & Buten1 plants by 3WL SIEMENS ACBs

including ordering and installation.

Team member of ISO9000, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and IMS.
