to day business deliverables, and implemented an organizational value
stream map to drive future efficient releases on time. Reduced late
releases from 43 to 2 in 7 months.
Developed cross functional commodity strategy plans that align with the
production Body SMT, defined a supply base, built cost models, developed
program by program plans, established standard work, and also developed
future proposals to grow each commodity. Saved $4.3M in capital and
$21/grille over 3 Accessory grille programs.
Actively mentor employees around innovative thinking, three employees
have filed Records of Inventions in 2015.

Program Team (2013-2014)
Led vehicle level cost reduction corporate strategic initiative for
the Crossovers program team, SRX, Acadia, Traverse, and Enclave. Worked
cross functionally between Program Management, Marketing, Purchasing,
Finance, and each Engineering SMT, Body, Electrical, Chassis, HVAC, and
Interiors, to identify, value, and execute cost reduction ideas.
Met all content targets ahead of schedule for MY14, 15 and 16. Avg
savings for MY14 of $197/vehicle, MY15 of $328/vehicle, and MY16 of
$337/vehicle. Total savings $296M.
Led idea generation workshop strategy which included the following cost
reduction workshops, assembly plant, static vehicle reviews, Vehicle
Integration, and also Auto Show benchmarking and vehicle content,
packaging, and complexity reviews.
Supported and occasionally hosted weekly top level senior leadership
meetings to review overall corporate MCO performance.
GM - Lead Compartment Integration Engineer - GM Advanced Vehicle
Development Center (2012-2013)
Led the engineering resolution of packaging conflicts between SMTs, Vehicle
Integration, Manufacturing, and Design Studio supporting the C1XX programs.
Worked with R&D and the Consumer Research Team to develop customer based
clinics used to derive 17 loss functions that support vehicle occupant
spaciousness metrics.
GM - Lead Structures Integration Engineer - GM Global Noise and Vibration
Center / Structures Integration and CAE (2010-2012)
Developed Hardware - CAE vehicle integration correlation standard work
and successfully integrated this process into the Program Vehicle
Development Process.
Development of Value Stream Mapping for the Milford Proving Grounds Modal
Lab and the Overall Body Systems CAE process.
Led Battery and Hybrid structures related specifications, test method
development, root cause analysis, and CAE model correlation. Implemented
a 100 channel LMS modal test system in the Warren Battery Lab.
Developed cross functional team, Body SMT, N&V, CAE, and Vehicle
Integration, to develop engineering specifications for D-Ring stiffness
and the invention of closures hardware to manage rear closures motion.
GM - Global Engineering Business Manager - Electrical Systems, Hybrids,
Electric Vehicles, Batteries, Infotainment, and OnStar Engineering (2009-
2010)
